About Genform

Genform transforms used and discarded skateboards into colorful and practical household and interior items, with a focus on sustainability and craftsmanship. Each product is handcrafted with care and created to last for generations.

Through collaboration with skaters and skate shops, primarily in the triangle area, Genform creates a sustainable cycle where donors receive unique products as a thank you for their old skateboards. This combination of recycling, creative design and personal stories makes Genform a different player in Danish design with a focus on sustainability.

More than 500 skateboards are consumed monthly in Denmark alone, most of which unfortunately end up incinerated. Genform works to recycle used skateboards as much as possible and upcycle them into products that my customers can have for many years.

Recycling skateboards saves resources, significantly reduces waste and CO₂ emissions, while giving the material new life in unique, sustainable products.

introduction

Skateboard culture meets creative craft

My name is Kasper Laugesen and I am the founder of Genform, a company that focuses on recycling and upcycling old skateboards. After 18 years as an elite skater, a knee injury put an end to my active career. It led me instead to a passion for woodworking and carpentry, where today I combine my craft and design with skateboard culture.
